How do I invest in KMD Brands?

How do I change my banking instructions for dividends/distribution payments?
You will need to advise MUFG Corporate Services (formerly Link Market Services) of details of the account into which you would like all future dividends to be paid. Individual shareholders can update their details online at www.linkmarketservices.com.au / https://investorcentre.linkmarketservices.co.nz/ or by contacting MUFG Corporate Services (formerly Link Market Services) (see contact details above). Joint shareholders and corporations must complete and return the form to MUFG Corporate Services (formerly Link Market Services).

Does KMD have a Dividend Reinvestment Plan?
KMD Brands does not currently have a Dividend Reinvestment Plan.
Can I transfer shares?
Yes. However, how you transfer your securities will depend upon your individual circumstances.
If you are CHESS Sponsored, you will need to contact your sponsoring broker who will arrange the transfer on your behalf. If you are Issuer Sponsored and wish to transfer your listed securities – i.e. securities listed on the Australian Stock Exchange – to another person you will need to complete an Off-market Transfer Form (Transfer of Ownership).
If you are Issuer Sponsored and wish to transfer your unlisted securities – i.e. securities not listed on the Australia Stock Exchange – to another person you will need to:
- Complete an Off-market Transfer Form;
- Have stamp duty assessed and paid on the transfer (in the state of incorporation); and
- Lodge the stamped document with Link Market Services Limited.
You will need your SRN or HIN to sell your shares. Transfers must be validly completed and signed and must meet the issuer’s conditions of transfer.
Where do I find information regarding tax implications?
Everyone’s financial circumstances are different, you should consult your own financial planner or tax accountant regarding the tax implications of your investment.
Does KMD send out annual tax statements?
No, KMD Brands does not send out annual tax statements or tax booklets. Investors should refer to the distribution statements sent at the time of each distribution payment when completing tax returns.
How do I check the balance of my holdings?
You can access details of your shareholding in KMD by accessing https://www.linkmarketservices.com.au / https://investorcentre.linkmarketservices.co.nz/. You will be directed to MUFG Corporate Services (formerly Link Market Services) website. Log in to view your portfolio via the Investor Login tab either by registering online to set up a free portfolio if you desire, or click on Single Holding and have your Securityholder Reference Number (SRN) or Holder Identification Number (HIN) and postcode at hand to complete the log in.

How can I consolidate several holdings?
If both holdings are issuer sponsored and the names, addresses and banking instructions are identical, the duplicate holdings can be amalgamated. Simply contact MUFG Corporate Services (formerly Link Market Services) quoting your SRNs and request that we amalgamate the holdings. Please nominate the SRN you wish to retain. You can download a Merge Multiple Holdings form from Link Market Services website for this purpose.
The names, addresses and banking instructions of the two holdings must be identical before Link Market Services can amalgamate your holdings. You can compare and amend most of these details online.
If one or both of your holdings is on CHESS (broker sponsored), you will need to contact your broker to arrange for the amalgamation.
Can I receive dividends by cheque?
Yes. Dividends payable to shareholders will be by direct credit to their nominated financial institution accounts or mailed by cheque. If you do not provide your bank or address mail details, your dividends will be held on your behalf in a non-interest-bearing account until your nominated account details are received by MUFG Corporate Services (formerly Link Market Services) (after which time your payment will be made on the next scheduled periodic payment date).
How can I arrange for dividends to be paid electronically?
Provide your bank details to MUFG Corporate Services (formerly Link Market Services) so your dividends can be paid directly to your bank account.

Do I need to advise the share registry if I have changed my name?
Yes. If you are a CHESS sponsored investor, you must change your name via your broker. If you are an issuer sponsored investor, you can change your name by accessing www.linkmarketservices.com.au and completing a Name Correction Request and Indemnity Form (Name Correction) via the Forms section (please note that the share registry is unable to accept requests by facsimile, email or phone).
The form should be completed and signed correctly and accompanied by relevant supporting documentation. If you are signing under a power of attorney, a certified copy of the original power of attorney must be lodged with the Share registrar for noting (if not already noted).
Supporting documentation requirements differ, depending on the reason for the change of name;
- Change of name by marriage – requires a certified copy of your marriage certificate;
- Change to maiden name – if you wish to revert to your maiden name, a certified copy of your marriage certificate is required;
- Change of name by Deed Poll – we require a certified copy of the deed poll;
- Change of Company Name – we require a certified copy of the Certificate of Registration of Change of Name
